Swiss Transit Lab continues to grow and is co-founder of SAAM

The Swiss Transit Lab (STL) has used the past few months intensively to grow further. AWK Group AG, Batix Schweiz AG, CMD Management Group GmbH and Ferrostaal Equipment Solutions Schweiz AG have now joined the mobility lab in the canton of Schaffhausen. As a result, the STL has greatly expanded its fields of expertise as well as its network. The broader expertise is also reflected in the newly composed board. Together with the previous player Verkehrsbetriebe Schaffhausen (VBSH), the STL is now ideally equipped to actively shape the mobility of tomorrow.

A first step in this direction is the co-founding of the Swiss Association of Autonomous Mobility (SAAM). The aim of this association is to join forces within Switzerland in the field of autonomous driving and to jointly establish new mobility solutions. In this way, Switzerland is to become a pioneer in the field of autonomous mobility. Thanks to its experience in the canton of Schaffhausen with the "Line 12" pilot project at the Rhine Falls, the STL is a key expert within SAAM. Other founding members of SAAM include PostBus, AMAG, TCS and Mobility, as well as numerous transport companies in Switzerland. The president is Thierry Burkart, member of the Council of States.

Strengthened by new members, a newly composed board and supported by SAAM partners, the STL is currently working intensively on the planning of further projects in the canton of Schaffhausen. This will strengthen the Schaffhausen region as a hub for intelligent mobility.
